Split PDF Without Uploading — Extract Pages Privately
Remove, extract, or separate PDF pages without sending your file to any cloud.
Splitting a PDF usually means picking which pages you need and discarding the rest — but most online tools require an upload to do this, which means your full document hits a remote server even if you only want 2 pages out of 200. FixIt Localy lets you split, extract, and separate PDF pages with full visual thumbnails, entirely inside your browser. No upload, no account, no file size limit.
How It Works
Load your PDF
Click the button below and drop your PDF onto the tool or browse to select it. A thumbnail preview of all pages loads instantly in your browser.
Choose your pages
Click individual page thumbnails to select them, or type a range like '1-3, 5, 8-10'. You see exactly what you are extracting before you proceed.
Download your extracted pages
Click Split or Extract. Your new PDF downloads immediately. Each extracted range can also be downloaded as a separate file.
Why No File Upload?
Zero Data Exposure
Your files are processed using WebAssembly inside your browser tab. They are never transmitted to any server.
Instant Deletion
When you close the browser tab, all processed data is immediately destroyed. Nothing is cached or logged.
PDPL & GDPR Safe
No third-party data processor is involved. Fully compliant with Saudi Arabia's PDPL and the EU's GDPR by design.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I split a PDF into individual pages without uploading it?
Yes. The entire split operation runs inside your browser. Every page is processed locally using pdf-lib WebAssembly. Nothing is uploaded to any server at any point.
Can I extract a specific page range from a PDF?
Yes. You can type a custom range such as '1-5, 8, 12-15' to extract exactly the pages you need into a new PDF.
Does splitting a PDF remove the original?
No. The tool creates new PDF files from your selection. Your original PDF is not modified and remains on your device unchanged.
What is the maximum PDF size I can split?
There is no server-imposed limit since no upload occurs. Very large PDFs may take a few seconds to render thumbnails depending on your device.
Can I split a password-protected PDF?
Password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked before splitting. Once unlocked, page splitting works normally.
