Excel to PDF Converter — Spreadsheets to PDF Locally

Convert Excel (.xlsx, .xls) and CSV spreadsheets to PDF documents entirely in your browser. Each worksheet becomes a separate page in the PDF, with tables rendered using autoTable for clean formatting. Your financial data, reports, and spreadsheets never leave your device.

Multi-Sheet Support

All worksheets in your Excel workbook are converted and included in the output PDF. Each sheet becomes a separate page, with the sheet name displayed as a header. CSV files produce a single-page PDF.

Clean Table Rendering

Tables are rendered using jsPDF-autoTable, which produces clean grid-formatted tables with proper column alignment, headers, and row spacing. The output is landscape-oriented to accommodate wide spreadsheets.

Private Financial Data

Spreadsheets often contain sensitive financial, payroll, or business data. This tool processes everything locally — your Excel data is read using SheetJS in your browser and never transmitted to any external service.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What Excel formats are supported?

The tool supports .xlsx (Excel 2007+), .xls (Excel 97-2003), and .csv files. All are read using the SheetJS library which handles these formats natively in the browser.

Q: Does it support multiple worksheets?

Yes. Each worksheet in the workbook becomes a separate page in the output PDF. The sheet name is displayed as a header at the top of each page.

Q: Is the PDF landscape or portrait?

The PDF is generated in landscape orientation to better accommodate wide spreadsheets. This ensures columns are not cut off on wider datasets.

Q: What happens to formulas and cell formatting?

Formulas are evaluated to their computed values. Cell colors, fonts, and custom formatting are not preserved — the output is a clean data table. For formatted output, print directly from Excel.

Q: Is my spreadsheet data uploaded to your servers?

No. SheetJS reads your Excel file entirely in browser memory. jsPDF generates the PDF locally. Nothing is transmitted externally. Your financial data remains completely private.

Q: Is there a row or column limit?

No enforced limit, but very large spreadsheets (10,000+ rows) may be slow to process and generate large PDF files. For best results, convert individual sheets or filtered data ranges.
